On October 16, Chen Jianguang, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China MCC, held a symposium with Anqing Municipal Party Secretary Meng Jingwei and his parties at MCC Building in Beijing on deepening government-enterprise cooperation and accelerating project implementation. Zeng Jianzhong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of China MCC, and Zhu Guangxia, attended the event.
Chen Jianguang expressed his gratitude to Anqing Municipal Party Committee and People's Government for its long-standing support to China MCC, and briefly introduced the developing course and basic information of China MCC. Chen Jianguang stated that in recent years, China MCC has developed a business structure known as “One Core, Two Subjects, Five Characteristics” based on its professional technical advantages and business qualification advantages accumulated in the field of iron and steel metallurgy, and is making unremitting efforts towards the "One Goal, Two Best, Five Strengths" goals. Boasting a unique geographical advantage and profound cultural heritage, Anqing is a major industrial base in Anhui Province and a key node in the Yangtze River Economic Belt. China MCC has established a solid cooperative relationship with Anqing, and they have high cooperation compatibility, and broad cooperation prospects. It was hoped that both sides would further strengthen exchanges, comprehensively and in-depth plan and promote the "14th Five-Year Plan" strategic cooperation. Focusing on fields such as industrial upgrading, urban renewal, energy and environmental protection, and equipment manufacturing, continuously deepen cooperation, and strive to achieve more cooperation outcomes at an early date to contribute to the high-quality development of enterprises and regional economy, and work together to create a new model of government-enterprise cooperation.
Meng Jingwei thanked China MCC for its long-term positive contributions to the economic and social development of Anqing, and briefly introduced Anqing's development advantages and industrial layout. He stated that Anqing is thoroughly studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his inspection in Anhui and the spirit of the central urban work conference, and accelerating the implementation of the "One Belt, One Axis, One Ring, Three Towns" urban design. It is in urgent need of high-quality projects to supplement and strengthen industrial chains, advanced technologies to empower upgrading, and high-end talents to settle and start businesses in Anqing. It was hoped that on the basis of the existing sound cooperation, both sides would give full play to their respective advantages to deepen practical cooperation in such fields as urban renewal, industrial investment, mineral exploration, and industrial coordination. It is also expected that China MCC would introduce more high-quality resources, high-quality projects, and advanced technologies to Anqing to boost the economic and social development of Anqing. Anqing would continue to optimize its business environment and provide full-process service guarantee for enterprises.
